English 608 Klimasmith
Critical Exercise 3
Electronic Resources
at the Healey Library (and elsewhere)
Our goal for Critical Exercise 3 is to compile a list of useful
online resources we can use in English 608 and beyond. These will be posted on
the class blog so we all can access them easily. Start with the resources that
you can access through the Healey Library website; include any other resources
you think might be especially helpful to you personally. If you gain access to
these resources through another library (a Consortium Library; the BPL), please
note that in your description.
Your list should have at least 10 entries. You should include: the name of the resource,
the link to the resource, a short description of what is available there, and
any notes about how to access the resource. Use the following headings to help
organize your list, and please, if you quote someone else’s description of the
database, attribute your source.
1.
Databases
2.
Research Guides
3.
Writing and Reference Help
4.
Access to Print Materials
5.
Other Resources
Example Entry (do not use JSTOR):

include scholarship published in peer-reviewed academic journals, as well as
some primary sources and books.
